Dear Dr. Hansen,
Thank you for fixing my tooth! I hadn't had my teeth checked in a few years and then my tooth started to hurt and I knew I should have come in sooner. When I came in you didn't make me feel guilty, you just took an X-ray and showed me where my cavity was, and told me I needed a big filling. The filling appointment went so well, and my tooth started feeling better a few days after my new filling. Im so glad to be out of pain!! I promise I will come in regularly for check ups and cleanings now:)

This is a very professional and friendly office, whose sole focus is protecting your teeth, and trying not to push things on you that you don't want or need. You'll get an honest assessment of what needs to be done, if anything at all. But if something does need to be done, you can feel confident you're in competent hands. I must admit however, that I have a somewhat different perspective than most since I was a dental rep. for many years, and I've been in literally thousands of different offices. In my opinion, Dr. Tokuyama and Dr. Hansen's dental group is a keeper.

March 8th, 2016: Dr. Jeannette Tokuyama's office has a very welcoming atmosphere. You never feel rushed or uncomfortable. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Her office staff has been with her for decades, and that is a clear sign to me that her staff feels appreciated. Dr. Tokuyama is aware that our mouths can be sensitive and she performs treatments with a gentle touch. She really makes an effort to minimize pain and discomfort. If you want earphones with music, she will provide that to help keep your mind off the procedure. Dr. T. has excellent manual dexterity. She can perform intricate procedures with ease for extended periods of time. She has the stamina to do her job without seeming to be tired. Lastly, Dr. T. can make even the most terrified patient feel at ease. She has a calming nature and helps patients relax during treatment.

Thank you so much for being so gentle and kind with my 10 year old daughter's first filling experience. I've been your patient for many years, and feel totally comfortable in your office. But then when my daughter need a filling i got so worried. My daughter and I were both so nervous about what to expect, but then you spoke to us both so calmly and it helped us feel calm too. You gave her sunglasses and a blanket and let her watch her favorite program on the TV. By the time it came time to get the shot she was so comfortable that she didn't feel the shot at all. The filling was so quick and painless and now her tooth feels great. Im so thankful to you for taking the extra time to make sure her first experience with a filling went so well. I would recommend anyone to come to your office.

Dear Dr. Hansen,
You have done four crowns for me in the last three years. I used to be so nervous getting dental work done. But in your office the staff is so pleasant, and friendly. When I come in everyone knows my name and remembers me. When your assistant brings me back for my appointment, she always offers me a blanket, neck cushion, glasses and noise canceling headphones. Those things all really help especially the headphones so I don't hear the drill noise. The TV helps too. It really is a nice distraction. Then when I've had my crowns you are so gentle that I barely feel the shot, I never feel any pain and my crowns always feel so comfortable and look great too. Im so glad t have found a dentist that I can trust and that I feel so comfortable with.
